Searchie and Squarespace… It’s Not Either/Or!

Are you all in on Searchie, but you’re Squarespace-curious? Or perhaps you’re into Searchie already but you want to add Squarespace as a third. It’s OK—you can be “unfaithful” to Searchie or Squarespece. You don’t have to choose between the two.

Searchie and Squarespace play well together. Let me tell you how.

Link Away, Baby!

Link Your Searchie Hub from Your Squarespace Site

The easiest way to use Searchie with Squarespace is to create Searchie hubs and then link it to your Squarespace site. For example, let’s say you’re creating a membership. A button for “members only” on your website can lead users to the sign-in page for your membership Searchie hub. The users won’t know that they have left Squarespace for a Searchie hub—especially if you use consistent branding elements and design.

Consider linking away to your podcasts (as a playlist and with transcripts), a page for your past Facebook live sessions or other video interactions with your clients, a free or paid course—the ideas are endless.

It’s OK to Play!

Add Playlists to Your Squarespace Website

Another way to take advantage of Searchie on your Squarespace site is to add your playlists by adding a code block. Simply grab the “embed code” from your Searchie video and pop it into your Squarespace code block and you’re all set! Your playlist is now featured on your website. You’ve now got all the amazing features of a Searchie video for your viewers—captions, searchable content, downloadable audio and transcript, fast-forward and rewind, and more!

Fidget with your Widget!

Embed a Widget into Your Squarespace Website

Make any of the content on your Squarespace site searchable by keyword by embedding a Searchie widget. Simply grab the “embed code” from your Searchie site and pop it into your Squarespace code block and you’re ready to go. People will easily be able to look up all the incredible material you’ve been pushing out to the world!
