Interview: She Uses Searchie to Teach ESL Learners Online

Like so many people, Pilar Reyes was forced to pivot her business when Covid-19 struck. Years of procrastination about finding a way to reuse lesson content and launching an online learning portal were suddenly overcome due to absolute necessity.

Moving from Kajabi to Searchie

Pilar began with Kajabi, but she found it wasn’t the ideal interface for her students, who are kids ages 8-16 as well as adult learners. She easily migrated her platform to Searchie, and she’s thrilled with the results. As Pilar says, “When I found Searchie, everything changed.”

Teens Love the Content - It Shows!

Along with the ease of setting up Searchie, Pilar says that Searchie allows her students to access only the content that is appropriate for their learning level. Pilar can drip daily activity content as well as provide access to other playlists, such as the weekly live sessions. Students can access downloadable lesson documents, watch instructional videos, and access audio components.

Searchie allows the students to get the repetition they need (and however much repetition the student needs). The analytics function allows Pilar to see what the learners are accessing and when. This way, she knows who is not fulfilling their learning tasks.

Searchie is So Easy!

In the interview, Pilar shows us her lively, kid-friendly Searchie Hub, and she raves about Searchie. Her advice? “Just start! It’s so much easier than I thought it would be.”
