5 Ways Searchie Will Save You Time Over the Other Guys

Whether you’re creating an online course or membership or creating a website, Searchie allows you to go from plan to published in no time flat.
It’s so easy to learn how to make Searchie do your bidding, so the learning curve is not a barrier. And once you have the hang of it, it gets even faster—I can whip out a basic Searchie Hub in a few hours!
Not only that, it’s easy to go in later and make changes or additions. When you think of the project you’re bringing to life with Searchie in that way, it becomes ever easier to present the “first draft version” to the world. It’ll only get better and richer over time.
2. Automate, Don’t Duplicate!
There’s nothing more frustrating than duplicating work: it’s a time suck and it’s repetitive. The good news is that Searchie’s integration with Zapier allows you to create automated workflows that take this busywork off your plate. Searchie integrates with many other apps.
For example, when you finish conducting a live session with your students or members in Zoom, you can have that automatically upload the recording of the session to a specific place in your Hub that you’ve assigned. There it is, ready for replay by the attendees as well as those who missed the session. No work on your part!
You can add additional tasks to this process. In the example above, perhaps you want the recordings to also be made into mp4 format and uploaded into your podcast? You can make that happen, taking yet another task off your to-do list. You can also make the transcript available in your Hub. There are so many ways you can automate your tasks and save time!

Where is that dang video? I know I mentioned that in a podcast; which one was it?

Want to pull up every video where you mentioned a certain topic? A few keystrokes will pull them all up for you. This feature alone has saved me days and days!
4. Repurposing Content is Fast and Easy
We are all bogged down by the never ending task of content creation. But Searchie can make repurposing your content a snap! Here’s an example: You create a video or podcast in Searchie. The transcript is automatically created, and there you have a draft for a blog post, book chapter, lead magnet, social media captions, and more! You could easily create a book from your online course this way, too. The sky’s the limit.
5. Searchie’s Chrome Extension is Seriously Addictive
Searchie’s Chrome extension is a cinch to install and use. It helps you record video from your computer: either of the screen itself (great for recording a presentation), you (using the computer’s webcam, or your screen with a small “talking head” circle so viewers can see your face as well as the information you’re sharing. I’ve taken entire online courses that were created this way, and I want to give the creators a high five for using this simple but effective way to create a course.
I use this extension more and more as a communication tool with my clients and team members. For example, rather than writing out a long email, I turn on my Searchie Chrome extension and start speaking. It’s a million times faster than trying to type it all out, and I feel it serves the recipient better than an email, too.
