This Entrepreneur Almost Ditched Her Dream
Laura London wanted to bring her concept of Connected Body Studio to the internet space, creating a membership to help women reclaim their wellness at any age. But she almost gave up when she faced the daunting task of creating the membership site! With some assistance from me, Laura overcame her resistance, learned how easy it is to use Searchie, and created the membership site of her dreams. Now she’s impacting the lives of many women and doing real good in the world!
Using Searchie as a Sales Page and a Membership Site
Laura decided to use Searchie for a sales landing page as well as for her membership site. It was easy to set up and it just made sense!
In our Searchie Success interview with Laura, she shows how her landing page describes who she is, who her membership is for, and exactly what members receive. There is a free sample workout, which is a great way for prospects to get a feel for Laura’s energy and teaching style.
The sales page includes client testimonials, clear pricing, FAQs, and two bonus programs. I have to say that this is one of the most informative, value-added, and effective sales pages I’ve seen—and it’s getting Laura conversions!
Searchie Helps Her Organize Her (Huge!) Content Library
There are so many facets to health and wellness! And Laura covers them all in her membership program: fitness, healthy eating, mindset, meditation, mantras, and clean beauty. Delivering all those content areas in an organized way is no mean feat! Laura found that Searchie made it easy for her to provide all of these content pillars to her members in a clear, organized manner, thanks to playlists and tagging.
Now it’s easy for Connected Body Studio members to find a workout or meditation of a certain duration or focus. Want a 10-minute core workout? It’s easy to pull one up. Searchie’s tagging feature allows Laura to create playlists based on duration or focus with just a few keystrokes, and the search feature allows users to find exactly what they’re looking for.
Her Membership Hub is Full of Features
Laura’s Connected Body Studio membership hub is chock full of resources to keep members coming back. She begins with a site tour for newcomers, and provides a 7-day beginner workout to provide a safe “on ramp” to the program.
There is a link to Laura’s Facebook group as well as episodes of her podcast, Connected Body Podcast. Members can search for a workout by duration or body part. They can learn about nutrition or find a recipe.
There are bonus programs in her membership such as the Hot & Healthy Body program. In this program, members can download an entire ebook that Laura has written and attached using Searchie. She raves about how easy it is to add these valuable attachments in Searchie.
One cool Searchie feature that Laura is making use of is a “recently watched” section. This area of the membership site will populate automatically with the most recent videos that the member has viewed (just like your Netflix interface does). This makes it really easy for the member to go back to a workout that they enjoyed!
She Almost Gave Up
Laura had a vision, but she felt like a deer in headlights when it came to bringing her business to the virtual space. She needed a little help to get it started!
It was a pleasure to work with Laura to get her Searchie Hub up and running, and now she’s in the driver’s seat. She now feels comfortable with Searchie and can add new content and make changes to her Hub with no outside help. Her membership is successfully launched and members are loving it!

Squarespace Was the Right Solution for a Second Project
Laura is one heck of a busy person: she has a second arm of her business that supports the spiritual health of clients. Together we decided that Squarespace was the best solution for her website for this offering, and I helped create a gorgeous Squarespace site for her.
This site includes some free resources as well as three offerings: sound energy and healing sessions, Reiki instruction, and of course, the Connected Body Studio membership.
