Searchie: What is the Difference between Basic, Pro, and Business Level?
You’re interested in using Searchie to bring a course, membership, or coaching program to the marketplace, but you find yourself looking at the pricing page and scratching your head. Which level is right for you? Certainly none of us want our business expenses to be any higher than they have to be—but we also want the level of service and functionality that will allow our offerings to succeed.
Here’s a breakdown of the three pricing levels and some thoughts on how to select the one that’s right for you. And you’re not permanently locked into the level you select: Searchie will allow you to change pricing levels as your online business evolves and scales.
Searchie Basic Gets You Started
You’re anything but “basic,” but perhaps you’re just dipping your toes into the Searchie pool to test it out. Or perhaps you plan to create one course or membership and then just put it to work for you. The Searchie Basic plan is the perfect way to get up and running on Searchie.
Searchie Basic plan costs $29 per month (all prices noted are current at the time of this publication, September 2022). For this price, you can upload 5 hours of video per month, create one Hub, have searchable transcription on your videos, one widget (such as the Searchie search bar), and an embeddable media player and playlists.
This is all you need to create a terrific online course and/or membership that can really impact your bottom line. In fact, most entrepreneurs I know get hooked on Searchie once they see how easy it is to take their ideas from concept to offering: their ideas start popping and they decide to create more Searchie offerings—so they need to change to the next pricing level: Searchie Pro.
Searchie Pro Allows You to Create Multiple Offerings
Perhaps you have more than one online course—or you want to offer a course or two in addition to a membership. Or maybe you’re a coach who wants a Searchie coaching platform in addition to a free course that serves as a marketing funnel. Or maybe you’d like to have a “public” Hub that serves as a landing page or a sales page. The possibilities are endless, but you can’t take advantage of them with only one Hub. It’s time to move up to Searchie Pro.
Searchie Pro currently costs $99 per month, but you can save $192 per year by paying annually. This brings the monthly cost to $83. For this price, you can create three Hubs and upload up to 15 hours of video monthly. At this level, you get some tools that really help to next-level your business: analytics, and downloadable transcripts.
With Searchie Pro, you get the ability to remove the Searchie branding. However, removing the Searchie branding may not be in your best interest. In fact, keeping the branding there can help you steer people to your Searchie affiliate link, where you’ll earn 30% of the fees they pay Searchie for the life of their account.
Some entrepreneurs select Searchie Pro because they simply need the additional upload hours, even if they only have one Hub. For example, a coach may have only one Hub for their coaching platform but they have more than 5 monthly hours of uploading, as they continually add recordings of their client calls to the coaching platform.
Searchie Business Lets You Scale
Many entrepreneurs outgrow three Hubs. They want to scale their online business with additional courses, programs, and memberships. Searchie Business is there for them! This plan gives you unlimited Hubs, unlimited widgets, and unmetered uploads. You can build a dynasty of online offerings!
Searchie Business also provides you with premium support from the amazing Searchie team. If you pay annually, the cost is $166 per month (a $396 savings over paying monthly). If you want to create a handful of offerings, this is the plan for you!
Like Goldilocks, Find the Plan that’s Just Right
Finding the right Searchie payment plan is completely dependent on your online business’ current state and your business goals. Luckily, Searchie gives you room to evolve and change your Searchie plan accordingly.
I started on Searchie Basic before they even offered Hubs (talk about OG), and enjoyed using Searchie without a Hub for about 6 months. Then I went to Searchie Pro as I began creating Hubs for myself. Eventually I transitioned to Searchie Business because I wanted to do more without any restrictions on my number of Hubs or hours of monthly uploads. By paying yearly, I feel that I receive a great value.
Many of my clients start out on Searchie Basic to test the viability of their offering. After making some money with it, they move up to Searchie Pro and continue growing.
Whether you’re just starting out with Searchie or you’re about to move up a level and create even more programs in Searchie, I’m here to help. You can purchase my Searchie templates to make Hub-building a snap, or you can hire me to create your Hub in a day. Either way, I’ve got your back!
