How to Magically Convert Your Searchie Video Playlist Into A Podcast

My favorite teacher of all time was Mrs. Smith from 5th grade. You know why? Because Mrs. Smith knew that I needed to get hands-on to really learn. And she knew that other kids needed to read the lesson, while others needed to listen to the lesson. Mrs. Smith knew that her lessons had to be absorbed in several different ways, so she delivered them multiple ways. A great teacher knows how to serve the multitude of different learning styles of their students.

If you run a knowledge-based online business, guess what? You’re a teacher. Be like my dear Mrs. Smith and allow your clients to learn in whatever way serves them best. Searchie makes it so easy to do this! With Searchie, you can present a lesson via video and serve it up to your clients in more than one way: as a searchable video, as a searchable transcript, or as a searchable podcast! Let’s hone in on podcasts today:

Podcasts are Convenient

Some people love watching video, but many others simply find it too time-consuming. If given the opportunity, they’d prefer to listen to the same lesson in podcast format. This way, they can learn during their commute, workout, chores, etc. Some people find it easier to concentrate on the lesson when they listen.

Podcasts Take You Through a Searchie Playlist

Have you ever taken a deep dive into a new podcast, binging on several episodes at once? When you set up a Searchie playlist as an audio podcast, your client can travel down their learning path by simply hitting “play.”

Create a Podcast from a Searchie Hub Playlist or a Searchie Library Playlist

In Searchie 2.0, there are two kinds of playlists: Searchie Hub playlists (which reside in the Hub and are not meant for sharing outside of the Hub) and Searchie Library playlists (which are created and stored under the Libraries tab, and are meant for sharing).

Both of these kinds of playlists can be easily made into podcasts; the difference is the intended audience. A podcast from a Searchie Hub playlist would be solely for the clients who are signed up for that Searchie Hub: the people who are in your course, membership, coaching program, or sales funnel. By giving them access to the content they signed up for in podcast form, you’re making it even easier for them to delve into the content at their convenience.

A podcast from a Searchie Library playlist is meant to be shared with the wider world. Let’s say you want to share this playlist as a podcast on the major podcast streaming platforms to grow your audience and gain recognition as an expert in your field. Searchie makes it super easy to create the content once and share it multiple ways with the world. Perhaps you’ll decide to share the podcast version of the Searchie Library playlist with a podcast streaming service and share the video version of the Searchie Library playlist on YouTube. This way, you’re extending your reach and allowing people to access your content exactly how they’d prefer. That’s a win-win!
